Finnish food bloggers are getting bad PR pitches

Äijäruokaa blog is writing about bad PR pitches he has received lately for a Finnish PR agency. It seems that some lazy PR people haven’t been thinking much before sending their mass pitches to Finnish food bloggers. The spam emails that they were sending look like straight out of the Bad Pitch Blog.

Seth Godin has a nice post about the topic and PR people who are spamming bloggers:

Email means the cost of adding one more name is zero. Email means that lists keep getting bigger and bigger and once you’re on one, you’re on em all.

So, the smart PR folks (the successful ones) struggle to make their lists smaller and smaller. The lazy ones just try to make them bigger.

Check out also the Jaiku thread about this topic.
